Our mission at Les Nouvelles Recrues

We recruit you for who you are, not only for what's expected of you — and above all, we help you find THE role that fits YOU.

Today, we're recruiting an Go To Market Engineer for our client, Chain of Events, the company behind the events where the people shaping technology actually meet — based in Paris.

About the company

Chain of Events runs three summits, all in Paris, all within the same week:

Signal Week — the institutional summit for digital assets. Founded in 2019 as Paris Blockchain Week and elevated to Signal Week in 2026, it draws 10,000+ attendees from 100+ countries, roughly 70% of them C-suite. Its last edition convened 250+ banks and financial institutions, over $50T in assets under management, and 70 government officials and regulators — BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Citi, the London Stock Exchange, ESMA and the European Commission among them. The thesis: TradFi and digital assets are no longer two industries but one financial system being rebuilt on shared rails.

RAISE Summit — the AI summit for decision-makers. Launched in 2024, it has grown from 2,000 to 9,000+ attendees across three editions (80%+ C-level, from 76 countries), with 350+ speakers spanning AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption, agentic systems, sovereignty and policy. The 2026 edition at the Carrousel du Louvre featured Mark Cuban, Yann LeCun and Nelson Griggs (Nasdaq), plus the Versailles AI Gala, the RAISE Hackathon and RAISE the STAKES (1,100+ startup applications in 2026).

MACHINA Summit — Europe's leading event dedicated to Physical AI: intelligence that acts on the real world through humanoids, industrial robotics, autonomous systems and next-generation human–machine interfaces. Its inaugural 2026 edition brought together the labs building humanoids and the enterprises deploying robotics at scale, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA, 1X, Apptronik and Agility Robotics. It's the fastest-moving brand in the portfolio, with the most white space ahead of it.

In July 2026, all three brands were acquired by Hyve Group, the global B2B events organiser behind Fintech Meetup, HLTH and Shoptalk. In July 2027, they'll converge on the Palais des Congrès during the exact same week.

About the role

Chain of Events is behind some of the most commercially ambitious events in AI and blockchain, including RAISE Summit, MACHINA and Signal Week. Following its acquisition by Hyve Group, we’re looking for an exceptional commercial leader to build and drive MACHINA’s go-to-market engine - while acting as a connector and force multiplier across Hyve’s Global Ventures portfolio.

This is much more than a single-event role. You’ll bring teams together across sales, marketing, product and operations; turn insight into action; and transfer the playbooks, skills and commercial discipline that help new ventures scale faster.

Global Ventures is Hyve’s dedicated accelerator: the place where new event concepts are launched and high-potential businesses are supercharged. It combines the pace and ownership of a start-up with the reach and resources of a global group - powered by obsessive customer focus, rapid experimentation, simple decision-making and entrepreneurial energy

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a pure outbound role. You are not responsible for inbound. Your focus is building and running campaigns that convert cold contacts into conversations, using AI agent workflows, smart data, and sharp copy as your primary tools. If you are energised by seeing a sequence you built result in a meeting with a company that becomes a sponsor, this role is for you.

What you will own

Outbound sequences & campaign architecture

  • Build, deploy and optimise outbound campaigns - you own the sequence from first touch to booked meeting.
  • Multi-channel campaign architecture - email, LinkedIn, and any channel that converts. You decide the mix, the timing, and the message for each campaign.
  • Own the full funnel from campaign launch to booked meeting - we care about meetings generated, not sends or replies - we'll support you with the tools, data, and feedback loops to make sure the campaigns you build are converting.
  • Messaging strategy and copy direction - own the testing roadmap. Continuously iterate on what converts to meetings, not what gets opens.
  • AI agent workflows as default - use AI for research, personalisation and outreach as standard operating procedure, not as occasional add-ons. You should be building workflows that would take an SDR hours in minutes.

Data-driven outreach

  • Target list construction - source and pull target account and contact data using existing tools to build campaign-specific lists, working closely with the team to make sure targeting is sharp before any sequence goes out.
  • Enrolment logic - define and automate which contacts enter which sequences based on ICP score, data signals and funnel stage. No contact enrolled in the wrong sequence, no duplicate sends.
  • ICP scoring and segmentation - apply and adjust scoring models and segmentation logic in HubSpot to keep campaigns targeting the right accounts at the right moment.
  • Account Smart Mapping - map multiple ICP contacts per target account across seniority levels. AEs should never be working a single thread into a key account.
  • Data quality governance - maintain enrichment coverage above threshold and audit records on a regular cycle, so the team always has clean, reliable data to work from.
  • Buying committee research - surface full decision-making units per account, automated via enrichment tools where possible, manual review for the highest-priority targets.

Infrastructure & tooling

  • Domain and mailbox warm-up - you will own sender reputation and inbox placement, with full visibility into performance so you can stay ahead of any deliverability issues before they affect campaigns.
  • Day-to-day tool management - own the outreach tool stack (Lemlist, Instantly, Klenty, Alta, Artisan and equivalents). Keep it running, keep it optimised.
  • Weekly growth and deliverability report - reply rates, inbox placement, meetings booked, campaign-attributed pipeline. You will have a clear view of performance and share that with leadership each week.

What we are looking for

  • 2+ years’ experience in GTM engineering, growth or outbound-focused roles, ideally within events, media or B2B SaaS
  • Strong commercial acumen - you understand how GTM activity translates into qualified pipeline, revenue and long-term customer value
  • A demonstrable track record of building outbound sequences that book high-quality meetings, rather than simply generate activity
  • Hands-on experience managing outbound email infrastructure using Lemlist, Instantly, Smartlead or equivalent platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of data enrichment tools and processes, including Clay, waterfall enrichment and contact and account-data quality
  • Confident HubSpot capability - you can build workflows, refine scoring models and interpret performance reports without external support
  • An AI-native approach to outreach, using AI agents for research, personalisation and workflow automation as part of your day-to-day work
  • Excellent commercial copywriting skills, with the ability to create precise, relevant messaging that converts without relying on volume
  • A curious, experimental mindset - you test new approaches, identify what works and use data and customer feedback to improve performance quickly
  • The ability to distill new learning into clear, repeatable playbooks and teach others how to apply it across different ventures and markets
  • A natural cross-functional collaborator who can connect sales, marketing, product and operations, transferring knowledge and raising capability across Global Ventures
  • A self-directed approach - you can identify what needs to be built, take ownership and move forward confidently while remaining connected to the wider team
  • Familiarity with the AI industry and media landscape would be a strong advantage

Why this role

  • You will own the outbound engine for events that attract the most commercially active companies in AI and blockchain globally - the ICP is strong and the product sells itself to the right contacts
  • Your output is directly visible - a meeting you book today can become a six-figure sponsorship by end of quarter
  • Compensation is tied to commercial outcome, not activity - you are rewarded for what closes, not what you send
  • The tool stack is modern and you will have input into what gets added - no legacy CRM debt or spreadsheet-based prospecting
  • A diverse, multicultural team and real, visible impact on the work

Contract and compensation

  • Contract type: Full time Contract
  • Financial benefits: 100% Navigo · meal vouchers (€12.79/day, €8 employer-covered) · mutuelle 65%
  • Wellpass, team-building
  • Other perks: a diverse, multicultural team and real, visible impact on the work

Recruitment process

  • Screening Interview (30 min): first conversation about your background and motivations.
  • Hiring Manager Interview (30 min): deep-dive with the hiring manager on the role and your experience.
  • Use Case (60–90 min): a practical exercise, presented and discussed with the team.
  • CEO + HR Call (15-30min)
