Go-To-Market Recruiter - Join a Venture Capital Fund
Central London | Hybrid - 1-2 days WFH
Up to £50,000 Base | £120k-£200k Realistic OTE
You will sit inside a venture capital platform, working directly with its portfolio companies as they build the commercial teams that take innovative technology businesses from early growth to global scale.
The recruitment team operates with the pace, autonomy, and earning potential of an agency, but works on 100% retained searches across the fund’s portfolio.
That gives you something most agency recruiters rarely get: direct access to investors, founders, CROs, and leadership teams inside some of the most exciting technology businesses in the market.
The portfolio includes names such as xAI, OpenAI, and Snowflake, alongside the next generation of AI, SaaS, and cybersecurity businesses.
Why Working Inside a Venture Capital Fund Is Different
This role gives you far more than a strong recruitment desk.
You’ll gain exposure to how leading technology companies are funded, scaled, and commercialised.
You’ll see first-hand:
- How investors think about leadership and talent
- How startups build their first GTM functions
- How scaleups expand internationally
- How founders structure revenue teams
- How commercial leadership changes as businesses move through different funding stages
- How VC-backed businesses hire for growth
That creates exceptional long-term career value.
You’ll build a network across founders, investors, senior sales leaders, and technology executives, giving you exposure that can open future routes into executive search, GTM advisory, portfolio talent, consultancy, and the wider VC/PE ecosystem.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The Market
You’ll help high-growth technology companies build the commercial teams that turn innovative products into global businesses.
When an AI or SaaS company raises investment and prepares to scale, it needs exceptional people across:
- Revenue and commercial leadership
- Enterprise sales
- Sales engineering
- Customer success
- Partnerships and alliances
- Marketing
These are business-critical hires for companies moving from early traction through to international growth.
You could be helping a frontier AI business appoint its next commercial leader, building the first enterprise sales team for a venture-backed software company, or supporting an established SaaS organisation through its next phase of global expansion.
Why the Model Works
Because the team sits within the investment platform, consultants have direct access to portfolio companies and their hiring requirements.
That means:
- 100% retained searches
- Exclusive access to category-defining clients
- Consistent job flow
- Less time competing with other agencies
- More time speaking with exceptional candidates and closing deals
- Direct exposure to founders, investors, and senior technology leaders
- A much deeper understanding of how high-growth businesses actually scale
This is not traditional in-house recruitment.
You’ll still work in a highly commercial, performance-led environment and earn commission on your placements.
The difference is that the client access and demand already exist.
Earning Potential
Current performance demonstrates what is realistically achievable.
Even the lowest deal volume across the existing team is averaging 2.8 placements per month this year, equating to approximately £120k in total compensation.
