🧤 We’re Hiring – Women's First Team Goalkeeper Coach
AFC Wimbledon Women are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and committed Goalkeeper Coach to join our coaching team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a competitive women’s football environment and play a key role in the development and performance of our goalkeepers.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, position-specific goalkeeper coaching, supporting the wider coaching team, and preparing goalkeepers for competitive matchdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and progressive goalkeeper training sessions.
- Provide technical, tactical, and physical development for goalkeepers.
- Support goalkeeper preparation and performance on matchdays.
- Work closely with the management and coaching staff to ensure goalkeeper development aligns with the team's playing philosophy.
- Provide individual feedback and support to goalkeepers.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and high-performance environment.

Commitment
- Training: Trainings Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7pm to 10pm (8-10pm on pitch), Wednesday evenings (TBC, in the evening).
- Matchdays: Sundays, with some midweek fixtures as and when the league requires it. The successful candidate must be available to commit consistently to the team's training and matchday schedule.
Minimum Requirements
- National Goalkeeper Course qualification – essential.
- Experience coaching and/or playing as a goalkeeper.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to player development and continuous professional development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching and management team.
- Experience within women’s football, senior football, or an academy environment is desirable.

Remuneration
Depending on experience. Minimum £375 per month.
The successful applicant will be required to meet the relevant safeguarding and recruitment requirements, including a DBS check where applicable.
