Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Golang Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with strong expertise in Go/Golang. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications and backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop high-performance, reliable, and secure backend services.
- Work with databases and optimize queries and application performance.
- Implement unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Contribute to system design, architecture, and technical documentation.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Golang/Go development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Go programming concepts, concurrency, goroutines, channels, and error handling.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Experience with gRPC.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.
- Experience working in distributed systems and cloud-native environments.
- Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
