Role: Golang Developer
Type: PERM
Location: Burgess Hill, UK
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Salary: 50K - 55K GBP/Annum

Role Overview:
Join a collaborative Scrum team building and enhancing backend microservices for a global Loyalty and Benefits platform. You will focus on the Account domain, drive innovation using modern tools, and share engineering principles across the wider platform.

Key Requirements:

  • Backend Development: Proven experience in a type-safe language (Golang highly preferred, but others considered).
  • Architecture: Hands-on experience with backend microservices, REST APIs, and message queues (specifically Kafka or RabbitMQ).
  • Agile & CI/CD: Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum team to deliver automated, thoroughly tested code to production.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Testing: Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Tech Stack: Exposure to Docker, Postgres, gRPC, GraphQL, and Git.
  • Tools: Experience with Jenkins, Jira/Rally, or SVN.
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience).
