Golang Engineer / Go Developer

Golang Engineer / Go Developer required by a thriving sports technology scale-up who work with some of the top organisations in sports. The role involves greenfield development of middleware and new products, based around a microservices architecture using:

  • Golang
  • Kubernetes
  • MongoDB
  • Message Queues
  • AWS
  • Plus some other cool tools and tech

Hard requirements would be strong Go experience, with K8s and Mongo to back it up.

About the Company

The company has a base in the UK but have developers all across Europe, and are looking for a Backend Golang Engineer, offering fully remote working from the UK.

About the Role

This is a SportsTech with a progressive and fun company atmosphere, offering a salary up to £65k, and a chance to build and work with some amazing products for F1, Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Rugby, Esports, and much more! Any experience in this domain is welcomed and building middleware for things like ticketing, payment providers (e.g., Stripe) or similar is also a good crossover.

Requirements

This Backend Golang Engineer role is a hands-on position and you will need a minimum of 4 years current experience working with Golang as your primary programming language, and be comfortable managing your own CI/CD pipelines, etc.
