Goldsmith Luxury Jewellery | Midlands | £45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Are you a highly skilled Goldsmith who takes genuine pride in exceptional craftsmanship? We're partnering with one of the UK's most prestigious independent luxury jewellers to recruit an experienced Goldsmith to join their renowned workshop. This is an opportunity to work with some of the finest diamonds, coloured gemstones, and precious metals, producing and restoring extraordinary pieces to the highest possible standards.

This is a role for someone who values precision over volume. Every piece is approached with meticulous attention to detail, whether creating bespoke commissions, undertaking complex repairs, or restoring treasured heirlooms.

The Role

Working as part of an established workshop, you'll be responsible for producing and repairing fine jewellery to exceptional standards, collaborating closely with designers, retail teams, and fellow craftspeople to deliver an outstanding client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture bespoke jewellery from concept through to completion.
  • Carry out complex jewellery repairs, alterations, and restorations.
  • Work confidently in platinum, gold, and other precious metals.
  • Set, assemble, solder, polish, and finish pieces to luxury standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD files where required.
  • Ensure all work meets the highest quality and workmanship expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the workshop and wider business to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Maintain workshop equipment and uphold excellent health and safety practices.

About You

You'll be an experienced bench Goldsmith with a genuine passion for fine jewellery and traditional craftsmanship.

You'll ideally have:

  • Several years' experience within a luxury jewellery workshop.
  • Strong experience across repairs, alterations, and bespoke manufacture.
  • Excellent soldering, fabrication, and finishing skills.
  • Experience working with platinum and precious metals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and pride in producing flawless work.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining uncompromising quality.
  • A collaborative approach and passion for continuous improvement.
