Company Description
Drive In Golf Ltd is an indoor golf facility with locations in Derby and a new site opening soon in Burntwood. The venue features five Trackman iO bays that provide advanced golf simulation and performance data for all skill levels. Guests can also enjoy two interactive darts bays, creating a fun, multi-activity environment. The facility offers PGA tuition and other services aimed at improving players’ skills and overall experience. Team members join a growing business focused on delivering high-quality, accessible golf in a modern, indoor setting.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Golf Assistant role based at the Burntwood facility. The Golf Assistant supports daily operations, welcoming guests, checking in bookings, and guiding visitors to the appropriate Trackman bays or interactive darts areas.

Responsibilities


Get help with your application

- Setting up and maintaining golf equipment
- Helping guests understand and use Trackman technology
- Assisting with PGA tuition sessions where required
- Providing excellent customer service
- Answering questions
- Handling basic sales and bookings
- Ensuring the facility remains clean, safe, and well-organized
The Golf Assistant works closely with the wider team to deliver a smooth, enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Practical knowledge of Golf and Golf Equipment to support players of varying skill levels.
- Basic understanding of Irrigation or facility maintenance is beneficial for supporting overall venue upkeep.
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn Trackman systems and other interactive equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by facility operations.
- Previous experience in a leisure, sports, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
