About The Role
This position with Pertemps Walsall Industrial is based in Walsall and involves managing vehicle arrivals and departures. As Goods In, you will direct lorries to the appropriate loading bays and coordinate with customers, sales, and customer service teams using both phone and email. Daily record-keeping is central to the role, requiring precise updates to tonnage and on-time-in-full logs. A solid grasp of measurements is essential for these duties. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm, offering £12.79 per hour. This full-time vacancy begins on a temporary basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Duties
- Placing Vehicles into correct Loading/Unloading areas
- Liaising with Customers/Sales/CS departments via Telephone and Email as and when required
- Updating a daily tonnage log accurately and thoroughly
- Updating a daily on time in full log accurately and thoroughly
- Good understanding of measurements
