Goods in Administrator
Salary: £24,784.50
Shift Pattern: Friday - Monday rotating shift pattern: 6:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 (working 4 days paid for 5)
Location: Stafford Fulfilment Centre

Right now, we are looking for an Administrator to join our Goods in Warehouse Team at our Fulfilment Centre in Stafford.
Candidate Profile Summary
We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will be confident working with data, systems, people and multiple stakeholders while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Experience within warehouse, logistics, or retail distribution operations would be advantageous, alongside strong Microsoft Excel and administrative skills. This role is pivotal in supporting the efficient operation of the Goods In function and ensuring Pets at Home delivers the highest standards of service to its customers.
Job Description
- Front of house for external deliveries
- Verify supplier documentation against received stock.
- Create and maintain accurate records for all goods received.
- Complete delivery booking administration and maintain inbound schedules.
- Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damages.
- Ensure all goods receipt transactions are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Process inbound deliveries within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Support stock investigations and reconciliation activities.
- Produce reports relating to inbound performance, inventory accuracy, and supplier compliance.
- Escalate stock variances to relevant operational teams.
- Assist with stock adjustment requests and administrative controls.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments regarding delivery issues.
- Respond professionally to inbound-related queries.
- Support supplier compliance processes by maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate delays or operational impacts promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor and adherence to inbound SLA's
- Update tracking documents and operational dashboards.
- Support management with data analysis and reporting requirements.
- Ensure all administrative databases and filing systems are maintained accurately.

Experience
- Previous experience within an administration role.
- Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, supply chain, retail distribution, or FMCG environment.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory management systems.
- Experience handling large volumes of data accurately.
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
