All About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Administrator to become a valued member of our team. This role is key to supporting the day-to-day operations of our distribution function by providing high-quality administrative support and ensuring the efficient flow of inbound stock.

A core responsibility of the position is managing goods-in administration across our main distribution centre. You will oversee the administration of both vessel and road inbound deliveries, maintain accurate shipment and stock records, manage test certification documentation and storage, and ensure all processes are completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing vessel inbound administration, including booking in incoming vessels and coordinating related documentation.
  • Administering goods-in activities and material ordering for the Bradford and Central Processing depots.
  • Ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of incoming materials in line with Goods Inwards procedures and schedules.
  • Verifying test certification and material documentation to ensure compliance with required material standards.
  • Managing inbound emails and directing enquiries to the appropriate departments where required.
  • Answering telephone calls and routing them to the relevant contacts.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers via telephone and email to provide timely support and information.
  • Supporting excellent customer service standards and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Ideally experience in a similar busy admin role within an office environment.
  • Proactive attitude & approach with a one team mindset.
  • High level of accuracy with good computer skills - Word/Excel
  • Organised & methodical in your approach.
