A look into the role

Henderson Technology are the proud creators of EDGEPoS, the multi award-winning global EPOS software system. We provide our retailers with the most innovative features and solutions for their EPOS software.

Due to the continued growth of Henderson Technology, we require a Goods In & Out Coordinator to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, tracking and dispatch of goods.

The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring engineers have the materials and equipment they need to deliver services effectively to our customers.

Working as Goods In/Goods Out Coordinator you will:

  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring all items are accurate and undamaged.
  • Scan and record goods into the inventory management system.
  • Pick, scan and issue goods to engineers in line with work requirements.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch by scanning, packing and staging items for collection.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Creating purchase orders.
  • Matching deliveries with purchase orders and invoices.
  • Similar office duties as required.

Skills for Success

Joining us as Goods In/Goods Out Coordinator the minimum criteria you’ll need is:

  • 5 GCSE’s A-C (or equivalent), to include Maths and English.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail store, logistics or goods in/goods out environment.
  • Competent IT skills, with confidence in using digital systems and technology. Please provide examples of the systems, software or digital equipment you have used in previous roles.

The Attributes you’ll need include:

  • Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy when handling stock and maintaining records of transactions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and recognise when issues need to be escalated.

It is Desirable if you have:

  • 2 A Levels or equivalent qualifications.
  • Previous experience working in an office or administrative environment.
  • Experience using SAGE 50 or similar accounting software.
  • Ability to learn and confidently use customised databases and internal systems.
  • Previous experience handling IT hardware, such as PCs, laptops, monitors or networking equipment.

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
