About the Role

Our London, Heathrow operation is seeking a Goods In Inspector to examine incoming aircraft parts and ensure compliance with airworthiness standards. This is a 4 on, 4 off shift (7 AM – 7 PM), with a competitive total package of:

  • Base salary: up to £33,800
  • Shift allowance: £2,400
  • Stamping allowance (post-training): £3,000

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Aerospace Manager, you will:

  • Inspect incoming aircraft parts, materials, and components to verify compliance with:
    • Purchase orders
    • Repair orders
    • Certifications
    • Airworthiness specifications
  • Confirm that all parts meet airworthiness standards and are free from damage or defects.
  • Ensure full documentation (e.g., Certificates of Conformity, Material Safety Data Sheets, Airworthiness Certificates) is:
    • Complete
    • Accurate
    • Properly filed

Additionally, you will:

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in inspection processes.
  • Support customer quality audits.
  • Maintain comprehensive training records.

Training: A six-month structured programme covering all role aspects and EASA Part-145 regulations. Upon certification, you’ll earn an official inspector stamp, enabling independent work.


Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in inspecting aircraft parts, materials, or components.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 regulations, particularly within maintenance or repair environments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure compliance with airworthiness and documentation standards.
  • Proactive, organised and confident in:
    • Internal stakeholder communication
    • External stakeholder interaction
  • A deep commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
