Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Skills We Value

  • You must be able to remain focused and calm under pressure. Customer care is integral to our business and so the successful candidates will have a “can do” attitude.
  • Detail focused: information in our database must be accurate to help prioritise samples and ensure we do not have to request fresh samples for our technicians to test.
  • Calm and structured: Every day can be different over the amount of deliveries we receive. Having a process driven mindset to make sure standards are consistent is important.
  • Comfortable with learning new tools: we are always looking to improve our systems. Learning new processes is important.
  • Able to make suggestions; all our teams are encouraged to suggest ways to improve speed, efficiency and accuracy. Actively contributing to make Axiom a great place to work is widely encouraged!

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening, checking, and recording details of newly received submissions and checking against the associated submission forms.
  • Transferring information from submission forms to the laboratory information management system (LIMS), ensuring samples are numbered and racked for distribution across our facility.
  • Organising shipment of laboratory consignments to specialist partners, chasing results and tracking inside our system.
  • Contributing to the Quality system, including performing data entry checks, and seeking and recording client feedback.
