We’re supporting a leading manufacturing company in Banbury who are looking for a Goods Inwards Administrator to join their team.

This is a day-shift position working Monday to Friday, responsible for ensuring incoming deliveries are accurately checked, processed and booked into the business.

You’ll also work closely with the Finance and Logistics teams to resolve goods receipt and purchase order queries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Check incoming deliveries for quantity and quality
  • Accurately book goods into the system
  • Investigate delivery and purchase order discrepancies
  • Request and track additional purchase order coverage
  • Process and maintain delivery documentation
  • Review weekly open order reports
  • Process COGI SAP transactions
  • Liaise with purchase order recipients regarding deliveries
  • Ensure goods are safely and correctly stored
  • Maintain an organised goods-in area
  • Work with Finance, Logistics and other departments
  • Support improvements in quality, productivity and efficiency
  • Follow Health & Safety and environmental procedures

About You:

  • Previous Goods In, Logistics, Warehouse Administration or similar experience preferred
  • SAP or other ERP/MES experience
  • Good computer and administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good literacy and numeracy
  • Organised and methodical
  • Able to work using your own initiative
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with different departments
  • FLT licence desirable but not essential
