Goods Inwards Stores and Production Coordinator
We are currently sourcing a Goods Inwards Stores and Production Coordinator for a leading manufacturing company in Witney. This is a temporary position supporting both the Stores and Production teams, ensuring goods are received, stored and picked accurately to meet the weekly production plan.
Responsibilities
As a Goods Inwards Stores and Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving and booking in goods delivered to site
- Safely loading and unloading deliveries
- Locating and storing stock using FIFO procedures
- Identifying cast numbers against works orders and organising stock into clearly labelled batches
- Picking and distributing parts accurately to Production in line with the weekly production plan
- Organising and despatching subcontracting goods and associated documentation
- Preparing pallets for final despatch and loading transport
- Transporting goods between the company's Witney sites
- Carrying out regular stock checks and assisting with stock control queries
- Supporting the Stock Control and Quality teams with bonded stock
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Carrying out driving, delivery and collection duties as required
- Operating a forklift truck or pedestrian stacker where appropriately qualified
- Supporting Production with the washing procedure

Skills Required
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Experience of stock control procedures
- Experience of picking and packing
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Health and Safety awareness
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately to deadlines
- Ability to work well as part of a team and under pressure
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling, including lifting up to 25kg
- Pedestrian Stacker licence
- Good general IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook, would be advantageous
- Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system would be desirable
- Valid UK driving licence would be advantageous
- Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift licence would be desirable

The Details
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm (Early finish Fridays)
- £14 p/h (Depending on experience)
- Temporary position
- Witney location
