Goods Out Operative
Hainault, Essex
£35,689.68 per annum
Monday to Saturday 54hrs
Hours: 0700 – 1600 / 0600-1500 (Saturday)
We are seeking an experienced Goods Out Operative to join us as we continue to strengthen and expand our business.
Handling goods out operations, including order processing, packing support, courier management, and quality control, ensuring accurate and efficient dispatch.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Accurate order processing for major accounts (Reynolds, Dishoom, Young’s), ensuring all customer specifications are met
- Managing second deliveries to maintain late-day service levels
- Supporting packing, weighing, and labelling to meet quality standards
- Processing courier manifests and ensuring all documentation is accurate
- Coordinating courier collections and preparing orders for dispatch
- Safe palletisation of completed orders, correctly stacked and labelled
- Conducting final quality control checks, including packaging integrity and temperature compliance

Requirements:
We are looking for applicants with the following skills, attributes, and experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or goods-out environment, preferably within the food industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to distinguish between similar product lines to ensure 100% order accuracy
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items
- Competent in using warehouse management systems
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in performance
