Google AI Engineer
💷 Rate/Salary: £395 per day Inside IR35 or £72,500 pro-rata (Fixed Term)
🚆 Location: Ipswich, Hybrid (Travel reimbursed)
The Role
Join a fast-paced global consultancy environment to deliver cutting-edge Google Cloud and Gemini AI solutions for enterprise clients. As a Google AI Engineer, you will hit the ground running, taking proactive ownership of multi-agent orchestration and production platform engineering.
What You'll Do
- Architect and independently deliver end-to-end full-stack integrations, APIs, UI, and infrastructure.
- Orchestrate complex ADK multi-agent engineering workflows, incorporating deterministic paths, resumable state, and human approval gates.
- Drive production platform engineering by implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, release controls, rollback mechanisms, and comprehensive logging.
- Execute rigorous AI evaluation and security protocols, including EvalOps, adversarial testing, prompt inspection, and Model Armor implementation.

What You Bring
- Extensive senior-level experience in fast-paced consultancies or GSIs with a focus on pragmatic problem-solving and proactive ownership.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Google Cloud, Vertex AI, and Gemini Enterprise solutions.
- Exceptional ability to thrive in aggressive delivery environments while ensuring effective knowledge transfer, scalable design, and strong documentation.
- Readiness to operate on a £400 day-rate contract with regular reimbursed travel to Ipswich.
