Our Team
We are seeking Google Cloud engineers to join the Accenture Google Business Group and Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group in the UK. Our teams architect and implement intelligent, cloud-native solutions that harness the full power of Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise for some of the UK’s largest and most strategically important organisations. We work at the cutting edge of cloud architecture, AI, and data engineering to build scalable platforms and agentic that drive real business transformation.
Google Cloud Engineer Responsibilities
- Hands-on creation and deployment of agentic and AI solution components using Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform
- Engineer Google Cloud-native applications, data pipelines and integrations based on architecture patterns
- Integrate Gemini Enterprise capabilities into enterprise workflows and client-facing applications
- Implement foundational Google Cloud platform components to support secure, enterprise-grade AI deployments
- Participate in design discussions and architecture reviews, ensuring implementations align with standards, security policies, and non-functional requirements
- Ensure client requirements are translated into well-architected, production-ready solutions
We are looking for
- At least one Google Cloud Professional certification
- Expertise in a wide range of Google Cloud products and services (e.g. GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in enterprise technology delivery spanning software engineering, cloud development, or data engineering
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions using Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (previously Vertex) or ADK, including multi-agent orchestration
- Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational runbooks
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD pipelines and scripting
- Confident communicator able to explain complex AI and cloud concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholder audiences

Set yourself apart
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and tools (e.g. Identity and Access Management, firewalls, encryption, Agent Gateway policy configuration)
- Familiarity with agentic AI concepts including RAG, tool use, agent orchestration, memory management, token management, and grounding with enterprise data
- Experience in site reliability engineering or IT production systems operations including live incident troubleshooting and resolution
- Demonstrable examples of technical innovation in engineering automation, AI solution design, or delivery model improvements
