A major enterprise organisation has recently completed a large-scale migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and is now looking for two Google Workspace Engineers to help maximise the value of its investment.
The cloud foundations are in place. The next phase is focused on delivering business value through automation, application development, reporting, and process improvement across a complex enterprise environment.
This is an opportunity to join a high-profile transformation programme and play a key role in shaping how the organisation leverages Google Workspace and GCP technologies.
The Role
Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and developers, you'll be responsible for building solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate manual processes, and enhance data visibility across the organisation.
You'll help establish best practices, contribute to solution design, and deliver applications and reporting capabilities using Google's low-code and cloud-native toolset.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business applications using Google AppSheet.
- Build and maintain automation solutions using Google Apps Script.
- Develop reporting and analytics capabilities using BigQuery and Looker Studio.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Review and improve existing applications, workflows, and reporting solutions.
- Contribute to development standards, governance, and best practices across the Google ecosystem.
- Support integration, automation, and API-based solutions.
- Assist with application support, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
