Location: Onsite Stevenage

Contract Type: Contract or Permanent

Clearance: Active SC clearance and SOLE UK NATIONAL

Inside IR35 Rate £800.00 - £850.00 pd

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced SC Cleared Google Workspace Support Specialist to provide expert support and administration across a global Google Workspace environment.

You'll be responsible for supporting end users, resolving complex incidents and service requests, administering Google Workspace services, and ensuring the smooth operation of collaboration and productivity tools. This role would suit someone with strong Google Workspace administration experience and a customer-focused approach to support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 support for Google Workspace services and applications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access requests, and administration activities.
  • Resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLA requirements.
  • Support and troubleshoot:
    • Gmail
    • Google Meet
    • Google Drive
    • Google Chat
    • Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Manage and update tickets through ITSM platforms and incident management processes.
  • Escalate and identify technical or process gaps where required.
  • Support Google case management activities and vendor engagements.
  • Assist with reporting and service monitoring activities.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, service management, and support teams to improve user experience and service delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace Administration.
  • Strong experience supporting:
    • Gmail
    • Google Meet
    • Google Drive
    • Google Chat
    • Google Editors (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Proven experience providing Level 2 Google Workspace Support.
  • Strong incident and request management experience.
  • Experience working with ITSM tools and processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and user support skills.
  • Ability to identify and escalate technical, service, or process-related issues.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Understanding of global email environments.
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure.
