We're looking for an organised and proactive individual to help take Buzz's governance to the highest standard.

Strong governance creates strong charities.
Your support will help ensure Buzz is governed to the highest standard, enabling our trustees to make informed decisions, plan for the future and provide strong oversight. By keeping our governance organised and effective, you'll play an important role in helping us continue to support children and families safely, sustainably and with confidence.
Buzz exists to support separating families to find positive, sustainable solutions for cooperative parenting and life after separation. Through our Family Time services and wider support offer, we work to reduce the impact of family separation on children and help families build safer, healthier relationships.
Over the last few years, Buzz has experienced consistent growth. We have expanded our reach across Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Suffolk, developed new partnerships and continued to respond to the increasing need for high-quality, trauma-informed support for separated families.
As our organisation continues to grow, effective governance is essential. Your contribution will help create the strong foundations that allow Buzz to remain accountable, sustainable and focused on achieving our vision that every separating family can access support to find positive solutions that put children at the heart of family separation.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who shares our values, enjoys being part of a dynamic team and wants to make a difference to children and families. We'd love someone who has:
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Experience coordinating meetings, projects or governance activities.
- The ability to prepare clear, accurate records and meeting minutes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using digital tools.
- The ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to monitor actions and follow up on commitments.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Over the last few years, we've experienced consistent growth, expanding our services, developing new partnerships and increasing our impact across Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Suffolk. As our organisation continues to evolve, we want to ensure our governance is just as strong as the support we provide to families.
We're looking for someone who can work independently alongside our Chair of Trustees, bringing structure and organisation to our Board. You'll work alongside our Chair of Trustees to ensure the Board operates effectively, coordinating the governance calendar, supporting Board meetings, maintaining governance records and helping ensure good governance is embedded throughout the organisation.
This role doesn't require you to become a trustee, although we'd be happy to explore that opportunity if it interests you in the future. Instead, you'll play a vital behind-the-scenes role, helping our trustees stay organised, informed and focused on effective governance and oversight.
Your skills and commitment will help strengthen the foundations of Buzz, ensuring we remain a trusted, forward-thinking charity with the governance needed to achieve our ambitions.
