Governance and Board Lead

£44,988-£49,070 pa (pro rata, 16 hours/2 days a week) + benefits

Permanent, part-time (flexible working considered)

Hybrid - Whitechapel, London (1 day a week in office)

In this exciting role as Governance & Board Lead within our Finance & Operations team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth and effective running of our governance structures and Board processes.

About The Role

Working closely with the Director for Finance and Operations (Company Secretary) and senior colleagues, you’ll coordinate Board and Committee activity, support statutory and compliance requirements, and help strengthen our governance, risk and policy processes. Your work will ensure the right information is in the right hands at the right time, enabling effective decision-making and helping B Lab UK continue to grow with integrity and accountability.

About You

You’re someone who is passionate about economic systems change and the role that businesses can play in creating the future that benefits all people and the planet. You’ll bring excellent organisation, attention to detail and strong written communication skills, alongside a proactive and collaborative approach to coordinating governance activities and improving processes. You’ll be comfortable handling confidential information, managing multiple priorities and building effective working relationships with colleagues, trustees and senior stakeholders.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK (we are not able to provide visa sponsorship).
