At CIMSPA, we're on a mission to support, develop and enable the professionals and organisations that power the UK's sport and physical activity sector. We're looking for an organised, detail-focused and personable Governance & Compliance Administrator to join our Governance and Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex processes, managing sensitive information with professionalism and supporting high standards of governance and accountability.

What You'll Be Doing

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be at the heart of our governance and compliance activity, supporting complaints management, governance processes and safeguarding responsibilities across the organisation.

You'll:

  • Act as the first point of contact for complaints and concerns received by CIMSPA
  • Coordinate and administer complaints, disciplinary hearings and appeals
  • Support board, committee and panel meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking
  • Maintain accurate governance records, reports and documentation
  • Help monitor governance activities and support assurance reporting
  • Provide professional support and guidance to colleagues, members and stakeholders
  • Act as CIMSPA's Deputy Safeguarding Lead, supporting safeguarding administration and processes

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who thrives on organisation, accuracy and collaboration. You'll be confident managing multiple priorities and handling sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Experience in administration within governance, complaints, regulatory, committee or professional environments
  • Excellent organisational and record-management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Experience coordinating meetings and preparing documentation
  • The ability to manage confidential information with integrity
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Salary: £27,657 to £31,311 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 16 hours per week, days and times to be negotiated

Contract: Permanent
