Join Airmid Staffing and Help Shape Outstanding Care
Are you an experienced Governance, Quality or Compliance professional looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact?
Do you have hands-on experience in adult social care, complex care, or healthcare services, with the confidence to analyse data, investigate incidents, challenge practice, and drive improvements?
Airmid Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Governance & Digital Projects Lead to work closely with our Registered Manager, Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team.
This is a key position within the organisation, helping to ensure our adult and paediatric complex-care services remain safe, compliant, inspection-ready and continuously improving.
This is much more than a traditional compliance role. You'll be a trusted governance lead who can identify risks, analyse trends, coordinate improvement actions and ensure changes are followed through to completion.
The Role
Reporting to the Registered Manager and Managing Director, you will take ownership of key governance systems, quality assurance processes, compliance monitoring, operational reporting and digital improvement projects.
You will work across the organisation to strengthen governance and regulatory compliance while supporting managers and frontline teams to continually improve the quality and safety of care.
You'll need to be comfortable working autonomously, asking the right questions and constructively challenging managers when required.
Key Responsibilities

- Support ongoing CQC and CIW inspection readiness
- Maintain governance trackers, compliance systems and action plans
- Monitor changes in legislation, regulatory guidance and best practice
- Coordinate policy reviews and ensure documentation remains current

- Ensure agreed governance actions are followed through to completion

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
