Contribute to the corporate governance arrangements supporting our businesses across EMEA and Americas. You will become part of a collaborative regional function, working closely with colleagues across Legal, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Risk Management and the wider business groups. Supporting a diverse portfolio of legal entities whilst working with boards, committees, corporate transactions and regulatory developments.
We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
What role will you play?
You will provide corporate governance and company secretarial support to a portfolio of entities, primarily across EMEA. Acting as a day-to-day governance support across Macquarie, you will help boards, committees, directors and internal stakeholders navigate governance requirements effectively. This will include preparing for board and committee meetings, drafting standard resolutions, reviewing and preparing papers, taking minutes and tracking actions. You will also coordinate meeting logistics and formalities, including compiling and distributing materials through Diligent Board Books.
Beyond the meeting cycle, you will support corporate transactions such as restructures, dividends, incorporations and dissolutions. Coordinating governance compliance activities, maintaining accurate corporate records and entity data, and preparing relevant documentation to company registrars. You will monitor corporate governance and regulatory developments, consider their implications and translate them into clear actions for the business. There will also be opportunities to enhance governance processes through data, technology and automation, while maintaining appropriate risk and control standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
