Governance & Reporting Associate / Operations Coordinator

As a Governance and Reporting Associate, you act as a key advisor to the Head of Reliability Operations ensuring robust oversight and compliance with regulatory requirements. You drive strategic initiatives to enhance governance frameworks, operational controls, and reporting standards while fostering strong cross-functional relationships. You’ll also manage operational coordination of the pillar leads for Reliability Operations (Change, Problem, Incident Management, and Software Quality)

Job responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain partnerships across Technology, Controls, and other lines of business.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate monthly reviews for Reliability Operations.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including room bookings, agendas, materials, attendees, logistics, and follow-up actions.
  • Produce and assure the quality of monthly reports; draft and review minutes; track and close open actions on time.
  • Collate and deliver Operations reporting to legal entity and regional forums; ensure consistency, appropriate escalation, and audit trails.
  • Champion robust record-keeping and document storage standards; drive continuous governance improvements.
  • Prepare, review, and format documents, presentations, reports, briefing packs, and correspondence.
  • Represent Operations Governance in senior forums; provide subject matter expertise and influence executive decisions.
  • Identify and address emerging risks, regulatory changes, and process improvement opportunities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry with significant experience in operational risk, financial regulation, and governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex information to executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive working relationships at all levels and across functions.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables to tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated accountability, responsibility, and ownership for team objectives and deliverables.
