Job Description

Europe Government Affairs

The Business Planning & Policy Strategy Analyst supports the delivery of Europe Government Affairs' (GA) strategic priorities through a combination of business planning, operational excellence, policy analysis, and strategic insight.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy, public policy, and government affairs. Working closely with Europe GA leadership, market teams, and cross-functional partners, the analyst will help shape strategic priorities, support executive engagement, and provide insight on political, regulatory, and market developments that influence Visa's growth agenda across Europe.

The role is responsible for supporting business planning processes, governance activities, executive reporting, and strategic initiatives across the Europe Government Affairs function. It also provides research, analytical, and project support on policy issues linked to Visa's strategic priorities across Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS), Value Added Services (VAS), and emerging innovation areas.

The position offers broad exposure to Visa's Government Affairs agenda, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams across Europe and globally.

  • Drive consistency and quality across leadership communications, business updates, and governance processes.
  • Support budget tracking, procurement coordination, and operational management activities across the team, as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
