Role Description
RODMENA is looking for a Government Relations Manager to lead engagement across the United Kingdom. The role shapes and executes government affairs and public policy strategy in support of business growth, strategic partnerships and long-term market access in priority defence and security markets.
It sits at the intersection of policy, artificial intelligence capability and deep technology. It needs someone who can translate political, regulatory and institutional developments into practical business insight, and who can build trusted relationships with government stakeholders, corporate customers, trade bodies and strategic partners. RODMENA builds distributed intelligence systems and the platforms underneath them. You would own how that record is presented to government and institutional audiences, and how their requirements come back into what we build.

- Substantial experience in government affairs, public policy or institutional relations, gained in industry, government, a trade body or a consultancy.
- A working understanding of United Kingdom public-sector procurement and the conditions of participation that govern it.
- The judgement to read political and regulatory change accurately and write down what it means for a business, without overstating what is known.
- Demonstrated ability to build durable relationships with senior government and institutional stakeholders.
- Excellent written English: this role produces briefings that other people make decisions from.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
