Affinity Learning Partnership is looking to recruit Local Governors across our Trust. We are looking for people with a diverse range of skills, experience and backgrounds to make a positive difference to the lives of our students. We are seeking volunteers with the skills and enthusiasm to effectively gather assurances on behalf of the Trust Board around the effectiveness of our schools in delivering that vision. This is a rewarding role that provides an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development.
We Are Looking For Volunteers With
- A strong commitment to the role and the Trust's purpose;
- The inquisitiveness to question and analyse;
- The willingness to learn;
- Good interpersonal skills.
Local Governors are required to attend up to 6 meetings per academic year, outside of the school day, along with occasional visits to the school.
