Background
What would it mean to join a partnership with earnings that sit in the top tier nationally? How would your week change if the practice you joined ran with genuine spare capacity rather than a permanent backlog? What if buy-in didn’t need a large lump sum on day one? If those questions interest you, read on.
Location
The role is based within the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, a rural and affluent part of the county with a stable, settled population. Lymington is around ten minutes away by car, Southampton roughly thirty minutes, and Bournemouth around forty minutes, giving good access to a larger town and a city while living within one of the most protected landscapes in the south of England.
The Practice
- A two-site model, five minutes apart by car, both fully equipped and equal in standing, giving genuine flexibility over where and how you work
- A small practice with a strong partnership team, meaning real influence and none of the friction of a larger partner group
- A deliberately light clinical model. No back-to-back clinics, no unnecessary follow-ups, and appointment length left to you
- Supported by a small but very experienced Salaried GP team featuring former Partners, alongside practice nursing and wider primary care network staff
- CQC Good, across the board

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
