Service launching in October 2026. ADHDX is a CQC-registered children's neurodevelopmental service delivering high-quality ADHD assessments through a modern, GP-led approach. Our mission is to reduce waiting times and deliver comprehensive, child-centred assessments in partnership with families, schools, and the NHS. We seek motivated GPs with an interest or experience in ADHD and neurodevelopmental conditions to join our growing clinical team. If you have experience assessing ADHD or have completed relevant training and wish to develop a specialist portfolio career, we invite you to apply.
About the role
You will conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments for children aged 6 to 12 as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. Depending on your location, you may provide:
- Virtual assessments from home
- Face-to-face assessments at our Central London clinic
- Community-based assessments in local schools across North London, especially for clinicians based in the area. Our assessment model combines thorough clinical evaluation, collaboration with schools, and consultant-supported multidisciplinary decision-making.

We are seeking doctors with the following qualifications:
Essential
- GMC registration with licence to practise
- GP on the Performers List
- Excellent communication skills
- Clinical interest in ADHD and autism
- The British Association of Neurodiversity (BAND) Neurodiversity AIDS course (or equivalent)
Desirable
- Experience assessing children with ADHD or Autism
- Previous Paediatric and/or Psychiatry rotations or training
- Experience working with children and families
