Be Part of Something Bigger.

Join the team delivering our award-winning GPA Programme and help empower the next generation of General Practice Assistants.

At PWCA CIC, we’re looking for a proactive and highly organised GPA Programme Administrator who thrives on supporting people and making things happen behind the scenes to coordinate the delivery of a programme transforming primary care across England. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring learners, educators and stakeholders have an outstanding and seamless experience from start to finish.

About Us

PCWA CIC is a primary care workforce and education organisation dedicated to making primary care the best place to work and learn. We design and deliver high-quality education and workforce programmes across GP practices, PCNs, Training Hubs, ICSs, universities and national NHS partners.

Our national General Practice Assistant (GPA) Programme is delivered across all seven NHS England regions and has recently been recognised with a Princess Royal Training Award.

Education is central to our work. We prioritise engaging, practical and supportive learning that helps people progress in their careers. As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest income into strengthening our organisation, developing our workforce and supporting primary care systems.

About The Role

The Programme Administrator provides essential administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth delivery of the GPA Programme. Acting as a key point of contact for learners, practices and workforce partners, the role supports programme processes, maintains accurate records, coordinates events and contributes to reporting and performance monitoring.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
