Are you an experienced Grab Driver looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with a well-established business? At J B Riney, part of Tarmac, we're looking for a dedicated Grab Driver to join our team in Bow, London.
For almost 40 years, J B Riney has been delivering high-quality civil engineering and highway maintenance services across Greater London. What You'll Be Doing
As a Grab Driver, reporting to the Plant & Transport Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting our operational teams across London. You'll be responsible for ensuring materials and equipment are delivered safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Grab Lorry safely and efficiently across a range of sites.
- Delivering loose and palletised materials from our depot network to project locations.
- Collecting and transporting spoil from sites to designated tipping facilities.
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service to clients and stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and operational teams across the business.
- Maintaining your vehicle to a high standard, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and roadworthy.

What We Are Looking For
We're looking for a safety-conscious and reliable professional who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Grab Driver.
- A valid Driver CPC Card.
- Lorry Mounted Crane Certification.
- Clamshell Bucket Ticket (NPORS, MPQC, or equivalent accredited qualification).
- A HGV Category C/Class 2 Driving Licence.
- A minimum of two years' relevant driving experience.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and customer service standards.
