Job Opportunity for Experienced Grab Driver
Are you an experienced and safety-conscious Grab Driver looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to support our operational teams across the Southern Water region. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in delivering drainage and civil engineering works, ensuring materials, equipment, and waste are transported safely and efficiently to support project delivery. Working closely with site teams, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining grab vehicles, undertaking daily vehicle inspections, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring all activities are completed in line with health and safety, environmental, and company standards.

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is a special purpose joint venture established to deliver wastewater network maintenance and repair services for Southern Water across the South of England. We focus on keeping sewer networks operating efficiently through planned maintenance, emergency response, and rehabilitation works. Our capability is underpinned by a substantial fleet of specialist vehicles including vacuum tankers, jetting units, and CCTV survey equipment, supported by advanced technology for rapid diagnostics and effective solutions. With a reputation for safety, reliability, and technical expertise, Cappagh Browne plays a critical role in protecting communities and maintaining essential infrastructure.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience operating a Grab vehicle within the utilities, construction, drainage, or civil engineering sectors.
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- HIAB/Grab Loader certification or relevant operating experience.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practice.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site teams, customers, and managers.
- A reliable, proactive, and professional approach to work.
- The ability to complete vehicle checks, records, and job documentation accurately.
- Flexibility to travel and support operational requirements across the region.
