Join Our Production Team

We're looking for a motivated Bagging & FLT Operator to join our team at AFI Taw Valley. This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient bagging, packaging, storage and dispatch of demineralised permeate powder while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and hygiene.

The shift pattern is a 4 days on 4 days off rolling rota, days only 0600 – 1800.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate bagging, packaging and dispatch equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load, move and store finished products using a Counterbalance FLT.
  • Monitor production performance and support achievement of site KPI targets.
  • Carry out quality checks and report any process deviations promptly.
  • Complete production records and documentation accurately.
  • Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement activities and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Work closely with colleagues to minimise downtime and improve performance.
  • Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture.
  • Participate in training and development activities as required.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
  • Competent IT skills and familiar with Microsoft applications.
  • Always prioritise safety

Desirable

  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck experience.
  • Good understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards.
  • Previous experience within food manufacturing, production or process operations.
  • HACCP Level 1 or equivalent food safety training.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement.
  • Knowledge of OEE, SAP or similar production systems.
