HarKaye Core Talent is partnered with an award-winning and rapidly growing law firm that are seeking an experienced Grade A Serious Injury Solicitor to join its highly respected Serious Injury team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value claims while making a genuine difference to the lives of individuals who have suffered life-changing injuries. You will collaborate with experienced specialists on challenging and rewarding cases involving catastrophic injury litigation.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of serious injury matters, including:
- Brain injury claims
- Spinal injury claims
- Amputations
- Complex orthopaedic injuries
- High-value and multi-track litigation
- Inquests and public enquiries
Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will be involved in all stages of case progression, from initial investigations through to settlement or trial.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of serious injury and catastrophic injury claims.
- Attending client meetings, conferences with counsel, expert appointments and court hearings.
- Reviewing and analysing medical records, expert evidence and rehabilitation documentation.
- Drafting witness statements, schedules of loss, pleadings and instructions to counsel.
- Conducting litigation in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols.
- Liaising with medical, forensic and technical experts.
- Negotiating settlements, interim payments and costs.
- Delivering exceptional client care throughout the lifetime of each claim.
- Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team development where appropriate.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience handling or assisting with serious injury and/or large loss claims.
- Strong claimant personal injury litigation experience.
- The ability to manage files independently with appropriate supervision.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and case management skills.
- Strong communication and client care abilities.
- Good IT proficiency and experience using case management systems.
