Introducing Trainline Partner Solutions at Trainline
Our Trainline Partner Solutions (TPS) division powers B2B growth – helping businesses, travel sellers and carriers simplify rail and put it at the heart of more journeys. This role sits within Trainline Business, our direct B2B offering for companies of all sizes.
Role Overview
As a Graduate / Junior Account Executive, you will focus on generating and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound activity, playing a key role in building high-quality pipeline and supporting the Account Executive in converting opportunities. This is an excellent entry point into a commercial sales career, offering hands-on experience in outbound prospecting, discovery and early-stage deal development.

Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound activity (email, phone, LinkedIn)
- Identify and engage prospective customers within target segments
- Run initial discovery conversations to understand customer needs and use cases
- Qualify opportunities and ensure strong fit before passing to the Account Executive
- Support the progression of early-stage opportunities through the sales funnel
- Assist with fast-moving opportunities, including short-cycle onboardings
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to pipeline tracking
- Collaborate with the Account Executive on account targeting and prioritization
- Continuously learn and apply consultative sales techniques
Qualifications
- Degree in Business or a related field
- Some experience in a commercial or sales environment is a plus
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confidence engaging with new people and initiating conversations
- Ability to work proactively and manage a varied workload
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and develop
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is advantageous
- Fluent in English
