Entry-Level Sales Development Representative (SDR) Portland
£30,000 - 35,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and successful business in Portland that is looking to add an Entry-Level Sales Development Representative to its expanding sales team. No previous sales experience is required, just the drive to learn, develop, and build a successful career.
The Opportunity
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, generating new business opportunities and helping to drive company growth.
You'll learn how to identify potential clients, start meaningful business conversations, qualify opportunities, and book appointments for senior sales professionals. Along the way, you'll receive full training, ongoing coaching, and support from experienced mentors who are committed to helping you succeed.

What You'll Be Doing
- Reaching out to potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Identifying new business opportunities and generating qualified leads
- Researching companies and key decision-makers
- Building relationships with prospective clients
- Booking appointments and meetings for the wider sales team
- Updating and maintaining CRM records
- Working closely with experienced sales professionals to develop your skills
- Contributing towards team targets and business growth
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people with the right attitude rather than a specific background.
You might be a recent graduate, someone from retail or hospitality, or simply looking for your first professional sales role.
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Confidence speaking with new people
- Strong motivation to learn and develop
- Good organisational skills
- A resilient and target-driven mindset
- A genuine interest in building a career in sales
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
