Launch Your Accountancy Career in Canary Wharf

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious graduate to begin a professional career in accountancy within one of London’s most prestigious financial districts.

We are looking for high calibre graduates who want more than a basic entry level finance role. This programme has been designed to give you meaningful exposure to real accounting, reporting, audit and commercial finance activity from the beginning, while providing the structure, support and progression needed to build a long term career.

Based in Canary Wharf, you will be joining a professional finance environment where graduates are encouraged to develop quickly, take on responsibility and become involved in work that genuinely contributes to the wider business.

From your first weeks in the role, you will work alongside experienced accountants, finance managers and senior professionals, gaining practical experience across management accounts, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation and internal financial controls.

Rather than spending your first year carrying out repetitive administration, you will be encouraged to understand how the numbers fit together, how financial information supports business decisions and how accurate accounting contributes to the performance and stability of an organisation.

As your confidence and technical ability develop, your responsibilities will increase. You will become more involved in month end reporting, financial analysis, account preparation, internal controls and wider finance projects. The programme is structured to reward development and performance.

The starting salary is £35,000, with the opportunity to progress towards £40,000 as you successfully develop within the programme and take on greater responsibility.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
