Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join an acoustic consultancy based near Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for acoustics to develop their career in a professional and supportive environment. Our client's consultancy specializes in providing high-quality acoustic services to a diverse range of clients across the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting noise and vibration surveys.
- Performing noise modelling and analysis.
- Preparing detailed technical reports.
- Managing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conducting sound insulation testing in accordance with industry standards.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive and organized approach to work.
- A full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).
Day-to-Day
Your Typical Day Will Involve
- Visiting client sites to carry out noise and vibration surveys.
- Using specialized software to model and analyze noise data.
- Collaborating with clients, architects, and planning consultants to provide practical acoustic solutions.
- Writing comprehensive reports to support planning applications and regulatory compliance.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
