We are seeking ambitious graduates

We are seeking ambitious graduates to join ASL's specialist loss adjusting team, working on complex international insurance claims involving banks, professionals and major commercial organisations while progressing towards Chartered Insurer status through a structured apprenticeship route.

Who we are:

ASL is a specialist professional services firm providing loss adjusting and forensic accounting services to insurers in the Financial and Professional Lines market, with a team of qualified lawyers, Chartered Accountants, Chartered Insurers and graduates working towards professional qualifications.

From our offices in London and Dubai, we act for insurer clients across international markets including London, Dubai, Miami, Zurich and Singapore, and are recognised as market leaders in our core areas of expertise.

ASL is privately owned, with a strong owner-manager culture. Our shareholders remain closely involved in the day-to-day running of the business, which helps us stay agile, responsive and connected to our clients.

Demand for our expertise is growing, and our combined adjusting, legal and accounting capability gives ASL a distinctive position in the insurance market.

We are now looking for people with the ability, personality and commitment to help us continue that growth.

What we do:

We focus on resolving complex insurance claims involving financial losses.

  • Our work includes investigating and reporting on white-collar crime affecting a wide range of organisations, including financial institutions and multinational businesses around the world.
  • We also handle cyber-related claims, an exciting and fast-developing area of the insurance market, alongside political risk and trade credit exposures.
  • Our work extends to business interruption claims, assessing the financial impact of disruption to an organisation's operations and helping insurers understand the extent of the resulting loss.
  • In addition, we deal with professional negligence claims involving accountants, solicitors, valuers and other professionals, as well as liabilities affecting banks, pension providers, fund managers and financial sector intermediaries.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
