About the Role

Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, using effective assessment methods to ensure strong student outcomes
- Create schemes of work and contribute to curriculum development aligned with industry and academic standards
- Monitor and manage student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous improvement in learning
- Provide student support and act as a personal tutor setting targets, and promoting student welfare and engagement
- Contribute to quality improvement processes, maintain accurate records, meet KPIs, and support audits and awarding bodies inspections
- Participate in wider college activities, CPD, team collaboration, recruitment events, and promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding

Qualifications
- Degree or relevant qualification in agriculture or a related sector
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths (Level 2+)
Required Skills
- Strong interest in the agricultural sector, particularly livestock production and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage workload effectively
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills and embrace new challenges
- Passionate about supporting and developing others
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications
Preferred Skills
- Previous teaching or training experience (or willingness to achieve)
