About Reply:

Role Overview:
As a Graduate AI Software Developer, you will help design, build and deploy innovative software solutions that leverage the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, AWS and Microsoft Azure. Working alongside experienced consultants, architects and engineers, you'll contribute to client-facing projects that solve real business challenges through modern software development and cloud-native technologies. You'll gain hands-on experience developing applications, integrating AI services, working with large language models (LLMs), and building scalable solutions using leading cloud platforms. At Reply, you'll benefit from extensive training opportunities including industry certifications, peer-to-peer learning, hackathons, code challenges and innovation labs. We encourage rapid career growth and will provide the support and mentorship needed to develop into a highly skilled AI Engineer and technology specialist.
This role is based in Manchester and we are recruiting for an October start date.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain software applications using modern development frameworks and tools
  • Support the development of AI-powered and Generative AI solutions for client projects
  • Work with cloud technologies including AWS and Microsoft Azure to build scalable applications
  • Collaborate with consultants, solution architects and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop, test and deploy high-quality code following software engineering best practices
  • Contribute to proof-of-concepts, innovation projects and AI experimentation initiatives
  • Support the integration of AI models, APIs and cloud services into enterprise applications
  • Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies in AI, cloud computing and software engineering

About the Candidate:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree (2:1 or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C# or similar
  • Passion for software development, AI and emerging technologies
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and development methodologies
  • Interest in cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Microsoft Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexible attitude towards working across different projects and industries
  • Eagerness to learn and build a career in AI and software engineering
  • Must be available to start full time work in August
