Our Internship Programme
At Alpha Bank London, interns don't spend five months on the sidelines.

Programme Details
- Five-month fixed-term contract commencing November 2026
- Hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week in our London office (Wednesday is a core office day)
- To maximise the internship experience, interns are encouraged to spend four days per week in the office
- Recruitment and interviews will take place during October 2026
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for internship roles.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a technically minded graduate with a strong interest in artificial technology, automation, data, and business operations to begin their career in banking while helping build practical AI-enabled solutions for operational challenges.
You will join the Operations team to support the optimisation of operational processes across the bank by leveraging AI-powered tools, data analytics, and automation technologies.
Working closely with operational and business teams, you will help identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate routine tasks, improve reporting, and support the adoption of AI-powered solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who wants to build a career at the intersection of operations, technology, and business transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Identify repetitive operational tasks that could be improved through automation.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate, and other productivity platforms.
- Create prompts, workflows, and standard operating procedures to enhance team productivity.
- Monitor the effectiveness of AI solutions and suggest improvements.
- Assist with the day-to-day coordination of operational activities.
- Help maintain accurate records, documentation, and process maps.
- Support project delivery by tracking actions, deadlines, and milestones.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
- Support colleagues in adopting AI tools and new processes.
- Deliver basic training guides and user documentation.
- Stay informed about developments in AI and emerging workplace technologies.

What We’re Looking For
- Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Python, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
- Practical exposure to creating AI agents, workflows, automations, or file-based data solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
