ABOUT THE CLIENT

We’re working with an established UK gaming business that develops engaging gaming content for players across the country.

Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a talented 2D iGame Artist & Animator to join their Birmingham-based team and help create high-quality visual assets and animations for upcoming gaming projects.

THE 2D iGame ARTIST & ANIMATOR ROLE:

As a 2D iGame Artist & Animator, you’ll be responsible for creating and animating engaging visual assets across a range of gaming projects.

You’ll work closely with designers and developers to produce characters, backgrounds, UI elements, effects and animations, ensuring artwork integrates smoothly into the finished games. You’ll also optimise assets and animations for performance across multiple gaming platforms and have the opportunity to work across a range of visual styles.

2D iGame ARTIST & ANIMATOR ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience using Adobe After Effects
  • Strong understanding of visual composition, colour and motion design
  • Ability to create artwork across different visual styles
  • Experience creating and animating digital assets
  • Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating your creative skillset
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience with Spine for 2D animation
  • Knowledge of 3D Studio Max or similar 3D software
  • Experience with game development tools or engines
  • Previous experience creating artwork or animations for games
  • An interest in gaming and iGaming products
