Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career in business operations within the technology sector?
Our client is looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Graduate Back Office Manager to join a growing software business. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across business operations, sales support, finance, and project delivery while developing valuable commercial skills in a fast-paced technology environment. You'll work closely with teams across the business, helping to improve operational efficiency and supporting the day-to-day activities that keep the organisation running smoothly.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work from the Reading office at least 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day administration and coordination of business operations across multiple departments.
- Maintain customer, supplier, contract, and operational records using ERP and internal business systems.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and business performance metrics for management.
- Assist with procurement, invoicing, expense management, and other financial administration tasks.
- Coordinate meetings, internal communications, and business documentation.
- Ensure business data remains accurate and compliant with internal processes.
- Help identify opportunities to improve processes and automate administrative tasks using Microsoft 365 tools.
- Provide operational support to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Skills & Experience
- Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A genuine interest in developing a career in business operations within a technology or software environment.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
