About Us

We are a growing, independent building surveying consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality professional and project services across a broad range of sectors. With a team of experienced Chartered Surveyors, we work alongside clients at every stage of the property lifecycle — from acquisition through to refurbishment, maintenance, and disposal.

Our sectors span residential, commercial, education, industrial, and public sector clients, and we are proud of the depth of expertise and the collaborative culture we have built. Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a talented Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to launch your building surveying career in a supportive and professionally stimulating environment. From day one, you will be working on real instructions alongside experienced colleagues, gaining exposure to a genuinely broad mix of professional and project work.

You will be supported towards MRICS status through a structured APC programme, with a dedicated supervisor and counsellor, regular review meetings, and a clear development pathway.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and will develop as you grow in the role. You can expect to be involved in:

Professional Surveying Services

  • Carrying out building, condition and pre-acquisition surveys across a range of property types
  • Preparing Schedules of Condition and Schedules of Dilapidations, and assisting with negotiation of settlements
  • Undertaking Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) surveys and preparing associated reports
  • Completing Reinstatement Cost Assessments
  • Identifying, analysing and reporting on building defects, with clear and concise written summaries

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
