Your new company
An established and highly respected independent building consultancy is seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate looking to develop a successful career within a supportive and professional environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial property projects across the region. Within this role, you will work alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors and industry specialists, receiving structured mentoring and support towards achieving MRICS status.
Your new role
As the Graduate Building Surveyor, you will play an integral part in delivering a variety of professional and project-led surveying services. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise while building strong client relationships and gaining valuable hands-on experience. As part of the role, you will:

- Assist with building surveys
- Support the delivery of contract administration and project management services
- Prepare schedules of condition
- Assist with feasibility studies and specification writing
- Develop strong working relationships with clients whilst working on a wide range of projects to provide the variety of experience required for your APC
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you will:
- Hold a degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
- Have strong organisational and time management skills
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use
- Live within commutable distance of Essex
