Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Graduate Building Surveyor role based in London. The role involves supporting senior surveyors in carrying out building surveys, technical due diligence inspections, and preparing clear, accurate reports for investors and asset managers.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspecting properties
- Collecting and interpreting survey data
- Assisting with defect analysis
- Contributing to recommendations on maintenance, compliance, and asset performance
The Graduate Building Surveyor will collaborate closely with the advisory team, help prepare documentation for client presentations, and ensure survey outputs are aligned with project timelines and quality standards. The role also includes learning to use digital tools and data platforms to enhance survey insight and improve the efficiency of the due diligence process.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of building surveying, including construction technology, building pathology, and property inspection methods.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and contribute to due diligence reports.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings in an accessible, client-focused format.
- Competence with digital tools and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and an interest in data-driven survey insight.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a project team, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline; interest in or eligibility for RICS accreditation is essential.
- Understanding of sustainability, building regulations, and health and safety considerations in the built environment is beneficial.
- Strong professional ethics, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from senior colleagues and take on increasing responsibility.
